Camp open Mon-Fri, 9 am – 5pm
Pick any weeks at only $300/week (or $70/ day if booking at least 15 separate days this summer)
half day option 9 am – 1 pm $50/day

For registration please fill out and mail or drop off this gymnastics-summer-camp form with your payment – check or money order – must be received by April 1st. Check must be written out to Mile-High Stars Athletics with your child’s name in the subject line.

Olga Halkina :: Club Owner and Founder :: Team Manager :: Gymnastics Instructor
Olga (aka Miss Olya) is originally from Rostov-on-Don, Russia. She graduated from BYU, majoring in Business Management and Finance. Olga enjoyed artistic gymnastics as a child from 10 to 15 years old, and time spent in gymnastics was the best time of her life. She currently promotes the most beautiful Olympic sport for girls – Rhythmic Gymnastics, in Denver, Colorado, and manages the rhythmic gymnastics team and other classes at Mile-High Stars Athletics as well as a non-profit to help our kids – the Denver Kids Club.
Zarina Izrailbekova :: Camp Director :: Head Coach :: Rhythmic Gymnastics
Zarina (aka Miss Zara), originally from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, has 20 years of combined experience as an athlete and as a coach. Zarina is a very talented and ambitious gymnastics and fitness coach, and she holds a title of The Honorary Coach of Uzbekistan, issued by the president of her native country; the only one such high level Rhythmic Gymnastics coach in the state of Colorado. Before joining Mile-High Stars Athletics she worked as a coach at The School of Olympic Reserves in Tashkent, for the Gymnastics Federation of Uzbekistan. Zarina worked with 2 Olympic teams: juniors and seniors. She took the junior team to the 1st place in the 13th Junior Asian Championships in 2013, which secured their spot in the Junior Olympics in Nanjing, China in 2014. In 2015 Zarina worked with the senior group, which came into the top 10 in the world during the World Championships in Stuttgart (for the first time in history of Uzbekistan), which qualified the team for Rio Olympics 2016. Most importantly, she is not just an amazing coach, but is also a great person with strong personal values and character. We are very happy to have Zarina on our team.
Anna Likhacheva :: Ballet :: Latin Dance Teacher
Anna (aka Miss Anya) is originally from Severomorsk, Murmansk area, Russia, started as a ballet dancer at ballet school from 4 to 10 years old, then moved to Belgorod and continue her dancing carrier as a ballroom dancer at Belgorod Ballroom Dancing School from 10 to 14 years old. In US Anna participated in Latin dancing program at Allied Champions Dance Center from 2008 to 2010. Anna has degree in Psychology and always can find the way to keep children motivated and share her passion about dancing with little dancers.
Marina Piskunova :: Acting :: Stage Performance
Marina has over 20 years of teaching experience. In her hometown, Samara, she was named organizer of the best afterschool programs for children by the governor of the region in 2005. In Denver, she works in an elementary school under the Cherry Creek School district. She is very talented: she plays piano and guitar, and sang in the famous choir of Samara’s Aerospace University for a long time. Years later, she now continues her singing career as a solo performer, as well as involving young children in the wonders of music and theatre.
Marina moved to Denver in 2006, and since then she has been working as a vocal and performing arts teacher at the Science, Art, and Sports Center for Children. Marina is a playwright and the director of countless numbers of productions and performances. She has created the best Russian New Year’s shows for children in Denver.
